Privacy policy

Interim version, 28 September 2026. This policy applies until a lawyer-reviewed version replaces it; we will tell subscribers by email when that happens.

What we collect

Your account: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored securely by our sign-in provider; we can’t read them.
Your subscription: your plan, trial and payment status, from Stripe. Your card details stay with Stripe; we never see them.
Technical information: basic logs of requests to the site (such as the time and the page), kept to run the service and keep it secure.

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

To give you access to the dashboard and manage your subscription.
To send the emails you signed up for: account emails (such as confirming your address or resetting your password), the weekly newsletter and alerts.
To reply when you contact us.
To keep the service secure and working.

Only the providers that run the service for us, and only what each one needs:

Supabase: accounts and database.
Stripe: payments.
Resend: sending email.
Cloudflare: hosting the site.

Some of these providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We may also share information if the law requires it.

Cookies

Sign-in cookie: keeps you signed in.
Signed-in marker: tells our pages to show “Account” instead of “Sign in”.
Display preference: your light or dark choice for the dashboard, kept in your browser.

We don’t use any other cookies.

How long we keep it

Your account: while it is open. When you close it, we delete your account information within 90 days, except what we must keep by law (such as payment records, which Stripe and we keep for tax purposes).
Logs: for a short time only.

Your choices and rights

You can see and change your name and email in Settings.
Email hello@redlineweekly.com to get a copy of your information, correct it, or ask us to delete it. We’ll reply within 30 days.
If you’re not happy with how we handle a privacy concern, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Security

Passwords are never stored in readable form.
Connections to the site are encrypted.
Access to our systems is limited to what is needed to run the service.

Changes

We may update this policy. For significant changes, we’ll email subscribers before they take effect.
